David Fisher

Art is my passion. I always strive to reach the highest quality possible when creating a piece of art work, cutting no corners. From as early as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by the technical aspect of drawing and painting, soon becoming obsessed by trying to recreate a variety of images without straying into photorealism - a piece of art should maintain originality and a sense of the artist, otherwise, why not just have the photograph??

 

I studied Art throughout my school life, culminating in a BA Hons in Art and Art History from the University of Wales Aberystwyth. I am currently working as a primary school teacher but have ventured back into accepting commissioned drawings to fill my (as many would think) copious spare time!

 

Most of my previous work has been completed in oil paints, however, I am currently using pencil crayons to complete commissions and thoroughly enjoying it. Please take some time to browse my image gallery, check out the commission process and pricing list.
